More than 11,000 Amherst drug lab convictions dismissed

Supreme Judicial Court Justice Frank Gaziano signed the dismissal order today for approximately 7,700 cases and 11,000 convictions — estimates from ACLU and CPCS — voluntarily vacated by district attorneys in fall 2017.
